The medicines that are used in the form of combination during the chemotherapy schedule are known as chemotherapy regimen. When the chemotherapy regime is used to treat diseases at the start it is known as Induction regime.

There are chemotherapy regimens that are given in combinations which includes all the information as to how the regimen is worked on and also the effects such regimens .A chemotherapy medicine can be given alone or with combined with other medicines. The chemotherapy medicine that is given is either one or more in number. The chemotherapy regimen has been listed below.

  • For Hodgkin’s lymphoma the chemotherapy regimen that is given is called ABVD and it is a combination of bleomycin Adriamycin(doxorubicin),dacarbazine vinblastine.
  • For the breast cancer the chemotherapy regimen that is followed is AC and it is a combination of cyclophosphamide Adriamcycin(doxorubicin).
  • BEACOPP is the chemotherapy regimen that is followed for the Hodgkin’s lymphoma. It is a combination of Bleomycin, etopside, cyclophoshamide, adriamycin(doxorubicin) procarbazine prednisone and Oncovin(vincristine).
  • The chemotherapy regimen for the testicular cancer,  germ cell tumorsis is known as  BEP and it is a combination of Bleomycin,etoposide as well as platinum agent(cisplatin).
  • The chemotherapy regimen for Breast cancer is called CAF and it is a combination of Adriamycin , ), fluorouracil and  Cyclophosphamide (doxorubicin).
  • For Lung CAncer chemotherapy regimen is called CAV and it is a combination of Adriamycin (doxorubicin), Cyclophosphamide, and vincristine.
  • CBV which is a combination of BCNU (carmustine), Cyclophosphamide, VP-16 (etoposide and it is the chemotherapy regimen for Lymphoma is called).
  • The combination of ChlVPP/EVA is Chlorambucil, Adriamycin (doxorubicin), procarbazine, vincristine (Oncovin), prednisone, vinblastine, etoposide and it’s the chemotherapy regimen for Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
  • CHOP is the chemotherapy regimen for Non-Hodgkin lymphoma and it is a combination of hydroxydoxorubicin Cyclophosphamide, prednisone vincristine.
  • The chemotherapy regimen for Non-Hodgkin lymphoma for patients with history of cardiovascular diseases is called COP or CVP.It is a combination of Cyclophosphamide, Oncovin (vincristine), prednisone.
  • The chemotherapy regimen for Breast Cancer in patients with history of cardiovascular disease is known as CMF. It is a combination of methotrexate, Cyclophosphamide, fluorouracil (5-FU).
  • For patients with Gastric cancer and oesophageal cancer and who have a history of cardiovascular diseases the chemotherapy regimenECF and it is a combination of Epirubicin, fluorouracil (5-FU), cisplatin.

  • The chemotherapy regimen for patients with Brain tumors and who have a history of cardiovascular disease is called PCV and it is a combination of leucovorin (folinic acid), oxaliplatin Fluorouracil (5-FU).
  • The chemotherapy regimen for B cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma in patients with history of cardiovascular disease is called R-FCM and it is a combination of cyclophosphamide, Rituximab, mitoxantrone, fludarabine.
  • For patients with Multiple myeloma  and who have a history of cardiovascular disease the chemotherapy regimen followed is called Thal/Dex and it is a combination of dexamethasone Thalidomide
  • In patients with history of cardiovascular disease the chemotherapy regimen for Multiple myeloma is called VAD and it consists of Adriamycin (doxorubicin), Vincristine, dexamethasone.
  • Lastly the chemotherapy regimen for Hodgkin’s lymphoma for the patients with history of cardiovascular disease in is called VAPEC-B and it is a made up of Vincristine, prednisone, Adriamycin (doxorubicin), etoposide, cyclophosphamide and bleomycin.
